Grease Lubrication Vs Oil Lubrication
Machines available in the market are having
grease lubrication. Our machines are with Oil
Lubrication. Oil lubrication is more positive
lubrication and full proofe. It is more economical
compared to grease lubrication .
Following calculation shows the difference and saving
due to oil lubrication
Daily grease requirement of Rs. 50/- per day =
1500/-
per month = 18,000/- per year
Vs
Oil to be changed every 6 month = 50 litrs x 60/-
= 3000
for 6 month = 6,000/- per year.
Difference comes to 12000 per year.
Time period for greasing results in loss of production.
Assuming the time required for greasing say 20 minutes
each time. Due to overheating it may require to gease
twice daily. While greasing the production is held up.
This is completely avoided in Oil lubrication.
Therefore :
For a machine having capacity of say
50 tons/hr.
Total loss of production per year is
about = 4950 Tons. = 952 Brass,
So Loss of Production due to time wasted in
greasing comes to Rs 9,52,000/- Considering
Profit @ Rs. 200.00 per brass comes to Rs
1,90,000/- per year
This will result in total loss per year about
Rs 2,00,000.00 per year.
This will increase
with bigger models.
